Brief Biodata
Born in the year 1970 in the rurban area of Bihar in a middle class family. Did Graduation in Agriculture from BHU, Varanasi in 1994. Completed M. Sc. in Extension in 1996 from National Dairy Research Institute (ICAR), Karnal. Joined ICAR as Scientist in December 1997 at Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, Lucknow. Promoted to the post of Principal Scientist in December, 2012. Before joining BAU, He was Head, Extension Division at ICAR-IISR, Lucknow.
Major areas of work: Integrated communicated strategies, Entrepreneurship model, PRA, PPP, Action, Research, HRD Module, Doubling Farmer’s Income model etc.

- Entrepreneurship in seed cane business -> 2000 ha with additional annual profit of Rs. 66.34 m
- Diversification for more crop per unit area and scaling up net profit -> 1000 ha with additional annual profit of 500 m rupees to the farmers
- Increase in Cane acreage under new varieties 2.0 lakh ha, 1.0 lakh farmers, 10 sugar mills, 30 % increase in recovery, 32500 m rupees extra revenue to sugar industry.
