The Officer-in-Charge, CEG Cell, BAU Sabour has been serving Govt. of India and Govt. of Bihar for about 17 years. He has been serving Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour for more than 10 years and has served Government of India around six years on different positions at Aligarh, Faridabad and Ranchi before joining BAU Sabour. He has cleared various Prelims. and Main Exams through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC). He has a long experience of guiding students for competitive examinations for several years.
Aims & Objectives :
- To guide and motivate students for prospective career in Government Sector through UPSC, SSC, State Service Commission, and in Banking Sector.
- To motivate students to serve the Government as an officer in Central/ State Administration, Indian Army/ Air force/ Navy, Para Military Forces, Banking etc.
- To guide and support the students, who are unable to pursue higher studies like M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Agriculture for a respectable government job.
- To build among the students a sense of awareness about the different job opportunities in government sector and various competitive examinations.
- To provide guidance and arrange for coaching for students to prepare for UPSC/SSC/State Service Commission/Banking etc.
- To conduct/ arrange motivational lectures by the senior government officers for the students.
- To conduct mock interviews and guide for personality development for the students.
- To support all the existing students as well as the former students of BAU Sabour to achieve their goals under the aforementioned aims & objectives.
Executive Committee:
The CEG Cell, BAU Sabour has an ‘Executive Committee’ of teachers/ officials for conducting different activities of CEG Cell, BAU Sabour effectively and to assist the Officer-in-Charge, CEG Cell to achieve the aims and objectives of “Competitive Examination & Guidance Cell (CEG Cell), BAU Sabour” in the interest of the students of the university. Ongoing Activities:
The CEG Cell, BAU Sabour organizes workshops on regular intervals to create awareness about the advertisement notices, vacancies, exam strategies, study materials etc. for the students of BAU, Sabour. This CEG Cell has also been conducting regular classes for English along with providing study materials in view of supporting the students in their preparation for competitive examinations. Very soon regular classes for General Studies (GS) are going to be conducted for them. Several other plans and programmes are on the way and the Cell is committed to provide the maximum facilities and support to the students to achieve their goals through various competitive examinations.
